Thanks for the fanmail!

Thanks to all the fans that sent their congratulations to the One Mouth Band for his Vokal Total performances and awards. It was a great experience, all around. Sam is already leveraging this success toward future European tours. Special thanks go out to Jeanine Rondas this month for helping to spread the word about the One Mouth Band in Western Europe. As always, any and all help is welcome! Thank you to everyone for your continued support!

Die Eine Mund Kapelle Gewinne! Zweinal!!! (The One Mouth Band Wins! Twice!!!)

The results are in: The One Mouth Band took 3rd place in both the Jazz and Pop competitions at this year's Vokal Total competition in Graz, Austria! Of the many groups that applied to compete in this international festival, only a dozen were chosen in the Pop genre and just a handful in Jazz. Sam was honored just to share the stage with such talented groups as The A Cappella ExpreSSS (Russia) and Rock4 (Netherlands), and to perform for luminary judges like Ward Swingle, Michele Weir, Mattias Becker, & Andrea Figallo. He never expected that these judges would rank his performances so well considering that The One Mouth Band doesn't possess some basic a cappella criteria like harmony, blend, or even staging. Nevertheless, after each of his two 20-minute performances, the crowd went wild and the udges were impressed! Not only was The One Mouth band the only act to compete in both the Pop and Jazz categories, the only act to win more than one award in the competition, and the only solo act, but he is now the first solo act to compete in an a cappella competition and the first solo act to place in an international a cappella competition!
